BRITAIN'S FIRST CULTURAL CENTRE FOR JAZZ MUSIC...
The Jazz Centre UK is a cultural hub that actively celebrates all aspects of Jazz, preserves its heritage and promotes contemporary performance and education. We are a charity, registered and founded by musician, broadcaster and writer Digby Fairweather in 2016. Read more about how we got started and the Charity on our 'About Us' page.
We are situated in Southend-on-Sea, Essex, in the Beecroft Art Gallery building. It is only an hour away from London on both the Liverpool Street and Fenchurch Street lines.
We operate both within our Cultural Centre and online. Attend live events, see heritage collections of famous Jazz musicians, workshops, browse our shop, visit us to browse our large library of books, vinyls and CDs and much more.
OUR AIM:
TO PRESERVE, PROMOTE AND CELEBRATE THE ART OF JAZZ IN ALL ITS FORMS.
