We would not be where we are today without public donations. None of what we do is possible without your help. Historic artefacts such as Sir John Dankworth’s piano and much of Humphrey Lyttelton’s heritage would have been lost forever. We actively increase accessibility to jazz music for all via free admission workshops, free admission events and provide study resources to students, researchers and musicians via our research and media centres.
We are a registered charity (charity No: 1167421) and our aim is 'to promote, preserve and celebrate the culture of jazz in all its forms'. We are all inclusive supporting music, art, film, dance, literature, poetry, heritage, photography... - and the list goes on. We hope to begin to cover this vast amount of ground with the below aims and objectives.
