About the Event
The Tret Trio are a collaboration between Scots saxophonist/composer Rob Hall and German musicians Philip van Endert (guitar) and Tobias Weindorf (keyboards). They will have played a Southend Jazz Festival date the evening before, as a quintet called Quintret, and are fitting in this stripped-down lunchtime show for us before they leave town. They have played the JCUK before in both trio and quintet formats and are an absolute treat either way: a Tret treat, in fact.
Free admission, with a collection for the band.
