From Dixieland to Swing: the Great British Jazz Band

Twice a year we present a concert in support of Jim Bayne's Softpower education charity, featuring the top names in British mainstream jazz. These events are very popular and advance booking is essential: 70 tickets are allocated to online sales; 24 tickets are available for purchase at the Jazz Centre reception.

The line-up for the April 6th show is: Digby Fairweather (trumpet), Julian Marc Stringle (clarinet, sax), Karen Sharp (tenor, baritone sax), Mark Nightingale (trombone), Nick Dawson (piano), Dave Green (bass), George Double (drums).
