Heather and Debbie's Divas of Swing: Mayor's Charity Show SOLD OUT

Divas of Swing! How did they sing? is an exciting new show which features jazz vocalists Heather Simmons and Debbie Bines with their hot jazz trio ( Tim Huskisson, Jerome Davies and Alan Clarke). Heather and Debbie will be paying tribute to female jazz singers from the early blues of Bessie Smith and Billie Holiday through to the later styles of Ella Fitzgerald and Cleo Laine. During the show you will hear the same song sung by two different artists and they will describe the vocal technique used to show off their differing styles, including the accents of international stars such as Marlene Dietrich and Edith Piaf. Heather and Debbie are renowned for their vocal harmony and have performed together at Ronnie Scott's, the Royal Festival Hall, the National Theatre, Cadogan Hall and many more.
