Jazz 825 presents Aero featuring Tom Ridout

Tom Ridout is an award-winning saxophonist who has quickly risen to prominence on the London scene. A graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, Tom has won several accolades, including the Peter Whittingham Jazz Award and the Lancaster Festival Youth Jazz commission. He is a prolific composer who has released his debut album 'No Excuses' to great acclaim. With a unique energy and creativity in his performances. Tom has played with some of the biggest names in jazz and at some of its most iconic venues. His dedication to his craft and his passion for music make him one of the most exciting young musicians in the country today. He has visited the JCUK before, as part of James Pettinger's pastoral folk-jazz ensemble Stablefolk, but today you will hear him in a context where he can unleash his formidable jazz chops!
