About the Event
The Tret Trio are a collaboration between Scots saxophonist/composer Rob Hall and German musicians Philip van Endert (guitar) and Tobias Weindorf (keyboards). They will have played a Southend Jazz Festival date the evening before, as a quintet called Quintret, and are fitting in this stripped down lunchtime show for us before they leave town. They have played the JCUK before in both trio and quintet formats and are an absolute treat either way: a Tret treat, in fact.
Free admission, with a collection for the band.
