Southend-on-Sea

About the Event

Out tour of the Jazz Centre's Jazz Timeline Collection visits the Nineties. Album c.ollections from the decade showcase "smooth jazz", but Hip Hop was around and jazz performers were intrigued by differently emphasised sounds. Solo artists accepted or rejected Rap's uncompromising attack and salted their playlists with exploration of regional and global discoveries.
