JCUK presents Carol Braithwaite and her band

For over 25 years Carol Braithwaite has been singing a relaxed and often unexpected repertoire, fronting her own monthly jazz gigs and as guest vocalist to various bands, gleaning songs from composers and lyricists and giving them her own interpretation. Along with private gigs and restaurant/dinner jazz, she is kept busy amongst the various musicians on the Essex jazz circuit.

For this afternoon's session, Carol is joined by some fabulous musicians, some well-known here at the Jazz Centre UK; Tim Huskisson is playing piano today, but is also known for his expertise on clarinet - a master of both. On drums is another Jazz Centre regular, Alan Clarke, whose career is widely acclaimed within the realms of jazz, funk and rock.
