JCUK presents The Nat Steele Trio

Nat Steele is a jazz vibraphone player based in London. He is a principally self-taught musician, specialising in playing straight ahead, swinging jazz, unashamedly influenced by players like Milt Jackson, Victor Feldman, Cal Tjader, Dave Pike and others. UK drumming legend Clark Tracey has described him as “one of the best vibes players this country has ever produced.” He is making his debut at the JCUK today, leading his own trio. Alongside Nat we'll hear pianist Matyas Gayer, who has impressed audiences here at several Spike's Place gigs; and the trio is completed by bassist Simon Read.
