More about Tim Huskisson

From Rochford, Essex, as a child Tim was inspired to become a musician after hearing jazz on 78rpm records. A self-taught pianist, he went on to take clarinet lessons from the age of nine and was playing in local jazz bands by his late teens. Tim spent much of his early career as a keyboardist/MD in popular music and entertainment. He worked for six years with the entertainer/actor Brian Conley and also toured Europe with the Rocky Horror Show. Latterly dedicating himself entirely to the music that first inspired him, Tim has established himself as one of the busiest musicians on the jazz club circuit. Playing vintage and modern styles on piano and clarinet. His band on the 18th: Mike “Magic” Henry (trumpet), Nils Solberg (guitar), Roger Curphey (bass) and Tim Huskisson (clarinet) playing Dixieland-Jazz, Standards, a hint of Latin . . .
