Mamma Mia! We've got him! NICK DAWSON comes to The Jazz Centre UK!

For the last fourteen years one of Britain's greatest ever jazz pianist-singers NICK DAWSON has spent much of his time as principal musical director for the West End production of 'Mamma Mia' the now-legendary ABBA tribute show. Of late however Nick has found time to return to the jazz circuit, starring amongst other presentations with Richard Pite's '100 Years of Jazz in 99 MInutes'; at Ronnie Scott's as a solo performer, and guesting at jazz clubs all over the UK. As great a singer as he is a pianist, Nick's presentation digs deep into the Great American and British Songbooks and his pianistic showcases travel effortlessly from Meade 'Lux' Lewis to Art Tatum and anywhere the music takes him! His solo piano recitals are a thing of beauty so book early to get a seat in our beautiful jazz atrium.
