About the Event
Alan Barnes is one of Britain's finest saxophonists and composers; today he teams up with young trumpet star James Davison, an award winning graduate of the Royal Academy who is now pursuing a busy freelance career in London. They are joined by Trevor Brown on piano, from the Syd Lawrence orchestra: the versatile Simon Thorpe on bass; and the great Bobby Worth on drums.
