About the Event
Alan Barnes is the consummate jazz professional, tirelessly gigging, composing, and recording, developing his own projects and contributing to others'. His ready, dry wit makes him a popular presence on stage, and has brought him gigs as compere, for example throughout the Scarborough Jazz festival. He appears today in the sympathetic company of John Pearce on piano, Andy Cleyndert on bass and Matt Fishwick on drums.
