Spike's Place presents Greg Abate

Greg Abate makes his annual appearance at the JCUK, playing today alongside his favourite British pianist, John Pearce, and his trio. Greg is the archetypal old school jazzman, playing hundreds of dates a year around the world and maintaining a superb standard of inventive, classy bop  and mainstream jazz. When he arrives in Britain, his first call is to his favourite pianist, the guv'nor, John Pearce, who accompanies him today with his trio.
