Spike's Place presents the Karen Sharp/Colin Oxley Quartet

Tenor and baritone sax star Karen Sharp made her name in the early 2000s with the Humphrey Lyttelton band, and has gone on to lead her own bands and contribute widely to other ensembles large and small, winning a number of awards along the way. She's joined by guitarist Colin Oxley, who has an equally impressive CV, playing with top British ensembles and a lengthy roster of visiting Americans like Scott Hamilton and Warren Vache. They're supported by Simon Thorpe on bass and Josh Morrison at the drums.
